Luretiir!girr

I found an old dotmap, possibly by L. W. L. Guatney, that included a portion of K'kree space including one sector that no-one has tackled yet - Luretiir!girr.

I've generated a dotmap sec from it (i.e. only world positions, worlds are all nameless and X100000-0), and drew borders / picked allegiances based on the Imperium Map poster. This is totally unofficial but I thought it was worth preserving the dotmap data in case anyone decides to tackle the sector in the future.

I arbitrarily decided that the large polity jammed into the Spinward side of the Two Thousand Worlds was the Dominate of the Lords of Thunder, but it will be up to whoever officially defines the sector to identify the local governments and decide which, if any, is the Dominate. Ω

I've done some work on Luretiir!girr, though I haven't finished the whole sector. Also, I didn't know about that dotmap, so the individual worlds are different; however, the polity-borders in my data are similar to the ones in the dotmap (if not identical).

I've put the unfinished data up on Explorerbase, since it could be useful.

Thanks for the pointer! If you feel like merging the data, go for it. I could also slurp what you have and write code to relocate worlds to match the dotmap.

Indeed, I might work on Luretiir!girr soon, though I'll likely finish my data for Spangele Sector first.
Who do you mean by slurping the data?

Also, some of the borders of K'kree client states in Gh!hken seem to have disappeared.

Removing the Gh!hken KC borders was intentional. They're clusters of K'kree client worlds, not necessarily independent states. Those polities also don't correspond to anything on the classic Imperium poster and make things look a little crowded. So I nixed the borders.

If the sector ever gets an official visit we can put them back.
